About Screamin’ for My Supper
Beth Hart’s second album Screamin’ for My Supper was released in 1999 and is a showcase of her powerful vocals and bluesy rock style. The album includes collaborations with legendary guitarist Slash on the song “Monkey Back” and Lenny Kravitz on the hit single “American Woman,” a cover of the classic Guess Who song.
The album also features a variety of other strong tracks such as the opening track “Just a Little Hole,” “Delicious Surprise,” and “By Her.” Hart’s voice is at its best on the emotional ballad “Broken and Ugly” and the soulful “Waterfalls,” both of which highlight her dynamic range and ability to convey powerful emotions through her singing.
