About “Obsessed”
“Obsessed” is a hidden song by Olivia Rodrigo from her album GUTS.
There are four limited-edition colored vinyl editions of GUTS, and each contains a different hidden song which plays after “Teenage Dream,” which is the last song on the album. The songs are:
- “Obsessed” (“G” red vinyl edition)
- “Scared of My Guitar” (“U” white vinyl edition)
- “Stranger” (“T” blue vinyl edition)
- “Girl I’ve Always Been” (“S” purple vinyl edition)
All of the hidden tracks are written by Olivia Rodrigo and Dan Nigro.
About GUTS
GUTS is the second studio album by American singer-songwriter Olivia Rodrigo, released on September 8, 2023, on Geffen Records. It was written and recorded with Dan Nigro, the producer and multi-instrumentalist of her debut album SOUR (2021). Inspired by the period of time immediately following SOUR‘s success, Rodrigo conceived GUTS hoping to reflect the process of maturity she experienced toward the end of her teenage years. Commercially, it topped the album charts in 12 countries, including the United States, Australia, Germany, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.
Three singles were released from the album. The lead single, “Vampire”, became a number-one hit in the US and several other countries, followed by “Bad Idea Right?” and “Get Him Back!”, which reached the top 10 internationally.
